Marion (1882-1967) was a daughter of Donald Mackenzie and Effie Macritchie, 19b Cromore. Her father died in 1900 and the family moved to 9 Castle Street, Stornoway.
In 1903, at Stornoway, she married Roderick Mackinnon, 16 Marvig. Marion and Roderick settled at 16 Marvig and they had nine children. Around 1929 the family moved to 24 Marvig a newly created croft from the Common Grazing with the permission of the village.
Marion was widowed in 1927
