Donald (born 1902) was a son of Murdo Macdonald and Catherine Macleod, 19b Cromore.
On April 21, 1923 he emigrated to Canada on the SS Metagama from Stornoway to Quebec. He later emigrated to the United States of America.
Donald married Catherine O'Neill formerly of Londonderry. Donald and Catherine settled in New York and they had two daughters.
