64726: Norman Macritchie

Tormod Chaluim Phàdruig

Norman (1878-1958) was a son of Malcolm Macritchie and Mary Macdonald, 8 Kneep. 

He was employed as a line fisherman, working out of Aberdeen, and was living there at 62 Constitution Street in 1898 when he married Catherine Kerley, 14 Carishader. Norman and Catherine initially lived at 14 Carishader and moved to Stornoway for a short time before moving to Glasgow in 1901. In 1908 the family returned to Stornoway and lived at 9 Church Street. Norman and Catherine had eight children.

Norman was widowed in 1953.
