Anna Sheoc
Ann (1825-1901) was a daughter of John Macarthur and Catherine Macneil, 12 Borrowston.
In December 1853, she married John Macphail, 27 Upper Carloway, a widower with three children. Ann and John settled at 27 Upper Carloway and they had three children only two of whom survived.
Ann was widowed in 1860 when John was lost at sea.
Ann passed the croft to her children, daughter Christina, 27a Upper Carloway and son Angus, 27b Upper Carloway.
