75767: Angus Morrison
Angus was born in 1791, the son of Alexander Morrison and Effie MacKinnon of old Borve. Angus became a tenant in old Ruisgarry, later obtaining 17 Ruisgarry (Brusda) in the 1850 relotting of Ruisgarry. He married Marion MacKillop, with whom he had a daughter, Christina.
Angus’ nephew Roderick MacDonald lived with the family, working as a farm servant. Roderick continued to live with the family following Angus’ death in 1856, when the croft was passed to Angus’ widow Marion.
