90973: Margaret Macleod
Margaret (1856-1935) was the daughter of Donald Macleod and Mary Stewart of 4 North Tolsta.
Margaret married Murdo Maciver of 56 North Tolsta and the couple initially settled there as cottars. However, when Murdo’s father moved to 36 North Tolsta, in 1874, Murdo and Margaret moved to 4 North Tolsta. It was at 4 North Tolsta that they had their six children: three girls and three boys.
On Margaret’s father’s death, in 1891, the croft passed to her husband Murdo.
