91367: Isabella Murray
Isabella (1841-1906) was the daughter of Angus Murray and Margaret Maciver. The family were living at 2 Old Glen Tolsta at the time of her birth; her father was a boundary shepherd.
In 1842 Old Glen Tolsta was cleared and the family obtained 29a Old South Tolsta.
In the 1851 croft relottings the family obtained 11 North Tolsta.
The family emigrated to Huron Township, Bruce County, Ontario in 1853.
Isabella married Edward Macleod of Ontario. They settled in Ripley and had nine children: Kenneth, Catherine, Angus Edward, Malcolm, Norman, Henrietta, Margaret Ann, Anna, and Christina. .
She is buried in Ripley Huron Cemetery.
