Margaret (1796-1883) was the daughter of Murdo Maciver of Coll Tacks.
She married Donald Maciver of Coll Tacks and by 1825 the couple were settled at 19/20 Aird Tong where they had six of their ten children.
In 1841 the family obtained 20 Old North Tolsta as a newly lotted croft.
In 1853 the family obtained 26 North Tolsta.
