Mairead Anna Aonghais Tharmoid

Margaret Ann (1931-1997) was the daughter of Angus Beaton and Margaret Murray, Fort Qu'Appelle,  Saskatchewan. Her father died the year she was born and she and her mother returned to Lewis the following year.

Margaret Ann and her mother lived at 7 Back the maternal croft and her mother died in 1952.

At Inverness, in 1959, she  married John Angus Maciver of 33 North Tolsta. Margaret Ann and John Angus settled at 7 Back and they had three children, one son and two daughters.
