92681: Henrietta Macaskill

Henrietta (born 1831) was the daughter of Murdo Macaskill and Mary Macmillan of  8 Old Vatisker. In  1850, in the croft re-lotting, the family obtained 27 Vatisker.

In 1870 she married Angus Macleod, 36 North Tolsta, a widower with six adult children. Henrietta and Angus settled  at 36 North Tolsta. In 1873 the couple had a daughter, Anne who died in infancy. That year the family emigrated to Canada and settled in the Eastern Townships of Quebec.

In 1880 the couple returned and settled at the newly lotted croft at 77 North Tolsta.
