93084: Donald Maciver
Donald (1920-1989) was the son of Murdo Maciver and Christina Maciver; it is not known where the family were living at the time of his birth.
In 1922 the family obtained 15 New Tolsta as a newly lotted croft.
Donald purchased Tolsta Dairy from Archie Maclean of Islay Cottage, North Tolsta, and Donald obtained 46 Gress, which he used for additional grazing of cattle.
Donald married Katie Ann Murray, of 45 North Tolsta, and the couple settled at 45 North Tolsta and had three children: two girls and one boy.
Donald inherited 15 New Tolsta from his parents.
In due course Donald passed family business, Tolsta Dairy and 46 Gress, to his son; 15 New Tolsta also passed to his son.
