Christina Murray (born 1819) lived in Tolsta..

She married Angus Macfarlane, 3 Old Gearraidh Ghuirm and the couple had a daughter, Mary. In 1851 Angus's parents obtained 52 North Tolsta and the family  became cottars there.

In 1853 the family emigrated to  Canada and settled at Huron Township, Bruce County, Ontario.
