Jane (1891-1893) was the daughter of John Macleod and Catherine Maciver. Initially her parents were cottars on her uncle's croft at 74 North Tolsta and later were cottars at 23 Coll.

Jane died in infancy of a contagious disease, probably Tuberculosis, which also killed her parents and all of her siblings except her eldest brother, Donald.
