14 Back
14 Back was a newly lotted croft in 1851 and the first tenant was Donald Macleod (1812-) son of Donald, 32 Old Back. In 1855 the family emigrated to the Eastern Townships of Quebec.
The next tenant was John Campbell (1826-1902) son of John, 3 Tong and after his death 14 Back was divided. 14a Back went to his daughter, Ann Campbell (1854-1905) and 14b Back to his daughter, Mary Campbell (1864-).
Cottar:
John Campbell (1856-) son of John, 14 Back was a cottar here before emigrating to Canada, in 1887.
