The first tenant of this croft was Donald Nicolson (1771-1860) son of Donald from Laxay. His daughter, Isabella (1831-1917) married Donald Macleod (1826-1903) 10 Kershader and the croft was passed down through the Macleod family until Donald Macleod (1861) moved to Stornoway.
