3 Gleann Tholastaidh; 3 Gleann Tholstaidh

3 Glen Tolsta was a newly lotted croft in 1843; the first tenant was John Carmichael. In 1875 he returned to Lemreway to live with his daughter, Mary, at 10 Lemreway and 3 Glen Tolsta passed to his son-in-law, Hector Maciver from 28 North Tolsta.

The family emigrated to the United States of America in 1883 and the following year  3 Glen Tolsta and 4 Glen Tolsta merged into 3/4 Glen Tolsta.
