Iain Chaluim Aonghais
John (1810-1878) was a son of Malcolm Macfarlane and Mary Campbell, 1 Skigersta. He received a pension.
In Lochs, in 1843, he married Anne Macdonald of Crobeg. John and Anne Initially lived at Crobeg and in the 1850s moved to Bayhead, Stornoway. In 1871 the family were living at Keith Street. The couple had seven children.
John was a well known Free Church Elder.
