Anna Iain Mhurchaidh

Anne  (1816-1891) was a daughter of John Macdonald and Mary Ross Maciver, Crobeg. The 1851 Census states she was born in Lochbroom.

In Lochs, in 1843 she married John Macfarlane, 1 Skigersta, Ness. Anne and John initially lived at Crobeg with her parents and in the 1850s the family moved to Bayhead, Stornoway.  In 1871 they were living at Keith Street. The couple had seven children.

Anne was widowed 1878 and in 1891 was living with her daughter, Mary Ann and family at 14 Francis Street, Stornoway.
