Catherine (1841-1911) was a daughter of Mary Macdonald nee Nicolson, 12 Leurbost and Donald Mackenzie. In 1841, she and her mother and two brothers are living at 12 Leurbost. In 1851 she is living with her grandmother, Christina Mackenzie formerly of 1 Old Leurbost.
In Lochs, in 1871, she married Roderick Mackenzie, 12 Crossbost, Catherine and Roderick settled at 12 Crossbost and they had six children.
