Lewis (1811-1903) was a son of Donald Macrae and Annabella Nicolson, 3 Habost.
In Lochs, in 1833, he married Annabella Macrae, Crobeg. Lewis and Annabella settled at 8 Habost and they had a son, John in 1835.
Lewis was widowed in 1835 and in 1838 married Mary Smith, Seaforth Head. The couple had four children and in 1876 Lewis was widowed again.
