Murchadh Thormoid Domhnaill
Murdo (1814) was the son of Norman Beaton and Ann Macrae of 16 Old Vatisker.
In 1839 he married Ann Macdonald from Swainbost. Murdo and Ann were cottars at 16 Old Vatisker and in 1842 they emigrated to Canada. They initially settled Nova Scotia and later settled in Lingwick, Quebec.
The couple had five children.
