Murchadh Iain Iain
Murdo (1836-1897) was a son of John Macdonald and Janet Macleod, 4 Kershader. His father died in 1839 and in the 1851 Census Murdo was listed as a Disabled Pauper. He was a Weaver all his life. In 1860 the family moved to 4 Habost.
In Lochs, in 1868, he married widow, Rachel Kennedy nee Mackay, 10 Lemreway. Murdo and Rachel lived at 10 Lemreway for a time before moving to 7 Kershader. The couple had two daughters.
Murdo was widowed in 1896 and died the following year
