Donald (1920-1976) was a son of Donald Campbell and Margaret Macaskill, 13 Gravir.
He served with the Royal Navy during the Second World War and he is mentioned in Roll of Honour: Pairc, Second Word War.
At Hillhead, in 1950, he married Maria Ann Matheson whose grandfather, John Matheson was from 25 Gravir. The couple settled in Glasgow and had a family.
The croft at 9 Gravir was passed to Donald from his uncle, Angus Macaskill.
