Iain Iain Iain
John (1901-1965) was a son of John Kennedy and Isabella Macleod, 4 Cromore. He attended the Nicolson Institute in Stornoway and then went to work in the Shipyards in Glasgow.
On April 26, 1924 he emigrated to Canada on the SS Marloch bound for Quebec. John worked for the Nickel Company at Nipigon and Sudbury in Ontario. He then worked for Anyox in British Columbia. He emigrated to the United States of America and found work at the Pure Carbonic Inc at New York.
In 1930, he married Petra Iverson formerly of Copenhagen. They settled in New Jersey and they had four children.
The couple are buried at Bethlehem Cemetery, New Jersey.
