Iain Mhurchaidh Alasdair
John (born 1842) was a son of Murdo Macleod and Mary Macleod, 11 Cromore.
In Lochs, in 1873, he married Margaret Mackenzie, 14 Marvig. John and Margaret settled at 11 Cromore and they had four children only one of whom survived.
The family were enumerated at 11 Cromore in 1891 and later moved to Stornoway.
