Margaret (1845-1927) was a daughter of John Mackenzie and Christina Macfarlane, 14 Marvig.
In Lochs, in 1873, she married John Macleod, 11 Cromore. Margaret and John settled at 11 Cromore and they had four children only one of whom survived.
The family were enumerated at 11 Cromore in 1891 and later moved to Stornoway.
