Kenneth Mackenzie (1783-1862) was from Badachro, Gairloch. He was sub-tenant at Crossbost until the Tack was broken up. Kenneth was a Cooper to trade and when he moved to Crobeg he was a Fish Curer.

In Lochs, in 1833, he married Isabella Macdonald, Crobeg. Kenneth and Isabella initially lived at Crossbost and later moved to Crobeg. The couple had six children.
