93343: Murdo Macfarlane
Murdo (1829-1894) was the son of John Macfarlane and Annie Maciver; it is not known where the family were living at the time of his birth. Both of his parents had links to Borve.
From 1830 to 1840 the family lived at 3 Old Gearraidh Ghuirm; it is not clear where they initially went after Gearraidh Ghuirm was cleared.
In 1851 the family obtained 52 North Tolsta as a newly lotted croft.
In 1853 the family emigrated to Huron Township, Bruce County.
Murdo married Christina Macleod, of Old Mid Borve, and the couple settled in Ontario.
