Seonag Iain

Janet (1832-1872) was the daughter of John Dickson and Catherine Adamson of Mouswald, Dumfries.

In Dumfries, in 1851, she married John Hunter from Closeburn, Dumfries. Janet and John settled at Gress Farm where they had two of their eight children. They moved to Arnish Farm and in 1865 the family moved to Galson Farm where John was the tenant farmer. In 1869 they moved to Coll Farm (Upper Coll Tack.)

Janet died aged 40.
