Seoras Iain Sheoras

George (1862-1938) was a son of John Hunter and Janet Dickson, Arnish Farm. In 1865 the family moved to Galson Farm and in 1869 to Upper Coll Tack (Coll Farm). His mother died in 1872 and in 1874 his father married Mary Latta Houston.

He emigrated to Canada and settled at Cranbrook, British Columbia. George married Jean Macleod Somerville, British Columbia and formerly of Gibraltar, Spain. George and Jean settled at Cranbrook and they had at least five children.
