Christina was the daughter of Neil Macleod and Catherine Mackenzie from Vuia Mhor.  

It is believed that she married Donald Mackay from the Isle of Lewis. The couple had a daughter, Christina and the family spent some time at 19 Balallan, the croft of her brother, John before they emigrated to Canada. The family settled in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia
