Calum Iain
Malcolm (born 1825) was the son of John Macfarlane and Annie Maciver. From 1830 to 1840 the family lived at 3 Old Gearraidh Ghuirm. In 1851 the family obtained 52 North Tolsta as a newly lotted croft.
Malcolm married Marion Macleod of 16 Lower Bayble. The couple were cottars at 52 North Tolsta where they had the first of their seven children.
In 1853 the family emigrated, with Malcolm's parents and siblings, to Canada and settled at Huron Township, Bruce County, Ontario.
