11705: Ann Macrae

Anna Dhòmhnaill Alasdair

Ann (born 1821) was a daughter of Donald Macrae and Annabella Nicolson, 3 Habost. 

In Lochs, in 1848, she married  widower, Angus Smith, 5 Old Achmore.  Ann and Angus settled at 5 Old Achmore and they had a daughter, Christina. The family moved to 8 Achmore in 1852.

Ann was widowed in 1856 and in 1861 her sister, Catherine and nephews, Malcolm and Donald are living with the family.

In Lochs, in 1862, she married John Macpherson from Newmarket and formerly of the Isle of Skye.  Ann and John lived at 8 Achmore. They had no children.

Ann was widowed again in 1864.
