Rob Mhurchaidh Ruairidh
Robert (1859-1900) was a son of Murdo Montgomery and Margaret Macarthur, 25 Ranish.
His father died in 1861 and the family moved to the maternal croft at 8 Cromore. Robert was not enumerated in 1871 and in 1881 was working for Donald and Catherine Macleod, 16 Cromore.
In Lochs, in 1886, he married Catherine Macleod, Granddaughter of John and Margaret Macleod, 17 Cromore. Robert and Catherine lived with the family at 17 Cromore and they had seven children.
Robert died aged 40.
